Subject: Guitarists?

That Muse song's the one that narks me off on Guitar Hero, let alone on an actual guitar!

I prefer songs with hammerons and rapid random notes, the quick strumming gets annoying, its not as responsive as a guitar, so I can play songs like Demon(s) easier than, say, Brianstorm

I can play the intro to plug in baby, but once I'd learnt the riff, I didn't bother learning the rest of the song. My electric spends a large proportion of time in a drop D tuning, so I usually only bother to learn entire songs in drop D for that. I know quite a few E-tuned tunes, but usually only the ones that translate well into acoustic guitar playing.

Anyway, I love playing a bit of acoustic or electric, and I love inflicting my "singing" on the family. Turin Brakes, Feeder Gomez and Jack Johnson form the main bits of my acoustic/singing repertoire.

Once I've sold my gaff and we move into a place with a garage, I'll set my drums up and then they'll be begging me to come and play acoustic and serenade them :)
