Alan (play) the piano. He (go) to lessons at school. He (not go) to lessons on Mondays with Mrs Jackson at 4 Beckfield Road. But Alan (not play) the piano every day. He often (forget). Mrs Jackson isn't always very happy with Alan. "This isn't very good. I'm sure you (not play) every day. A teacher always (know) when a pupil (now work). And don't forget, Alan. Your house is very near. But I (not hear) your piano in the evenings after school. You only (play) on Sundays, when I sleep in the afternoon."

If it ends in an "o" it has "es". If it ends in a consonant, it ends in "s".

That third sentence amuses me. That's quite a specific thing he doesn't do.
