Subject: Prizes for stuff you haven't done yet

In honour of Obama recieving the Nobel Peace Prize after 9 months in office, during which time he has increased the number of troops in Afghanistan and done nothing at all for peace, I would like to declare myself as a candidate for the Pullitzer Prize for my as yet unwritten magnum opus.. after all, they say we all have one great book in us so I would like to declare mine now, rather than wait until i actually write it.

so, on that note, what prize do you deserve and what is it that you may eventually do that warrants it?

I enter the tipping competition on the clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League website. Many weeks of winning nothing last season and I couldn't be bothered anymore then one Thursday I got a phone call from their HO. I'd won the weekly prize for gaining the top score the previous week. I was sure that I didn't enter so bluffed the call then went on the website to check. I hadn't entered at all but there were 4 goal-less draws that week and a score draw and by default all my preds were 0-0. So by not entering I got 13 points and won a Wii, a copy of FM 2009 and a prem league football :)

Not quite the Nobel Peace Prize but It'll do for me :)

I am actually writing a book and will most certainly deserve the Nobel Literature Prize, but even more than that, I deserve the Internet Fair Standards Award for having been banned more times than anyone else in the Sokker forums, yet have not been ousted from the game yet! This deserves some sort of recognition, what!

I deserve the dylanos Advanced Driving certificate for driving an elderly Rover 25 round a full-scale loop-the-loop, coming off an exit ramp, flying over the River Trent through ascending hoops of fire carried by balloons which have been released by a flotilla of rowing boats, whilst doing a barrel roll in mid-air and simultaneously filling in a self-assessment tax return. I might tootle my horn merrily too, but that's optional and I'll see how I feel on the day.
