Subject: Basingstoke in SNOW

2010-01-29 15:33:23
the chinese claimed they made it snow just before the Olympics and when asked why? or how? they said it was a secret...

I thought that since the pollution level is on average 50 times worse than WHO guidelines it shouldn't be too difficult to work out...

by the way, alright Rogi!

So the answer to your water problem then is "How do I create a big cloud out of nothing ?" - solve that and you can retire :)

I'm afraid that the geographical conditions of where my country is located restrict the options of creating clouds. The solution to our water problem is in desalinisation but these factories cost much. BTW, a study I've seen shows that people in the UK have 600 cups of fresh water per person per year (available) while here in Israel the amount is 6! But let not the situation of the poor water conditions in Israel steer us away from the lovely topic of Basingstoke in snow... much more 'refreshing' :)

Will anybody in Basingstoke please send Rogi a cup of snow.

Thanks.

am agree! 600 seems a very small amount!

That was the available natural sources of fresh water not processed water you get in your taps or mineral water in battles etc. rather the volume of naturally occurring fresh water.

at least 12-20* glasses of water per day

although most of those contain hops & sugar too.

the body needs 1/4 of a litre of water passed through the kidneys in order to completely detoxify its liquids.
coffee, alcohol (in reasonable levels), etc are NOT truly diraletic drinks - they replace more liquid than they remove.
the whole 8 galsses a day bolocks was basically invented by Evian and co

mineral water in battles etc

when we have water fights we just use tap water; the poor israelies have to use bottled water as their's is in such short supply

See, we don't have water fights!
1. Water is precious!
2. You get much better results with guns!!

I won a water fight with a load of kids in the field out in the back of my house the other week.
Nobody beats me and my kettle.

Hmmm... I have about 900 litres of rainwater in the garden butts, shall I send you some?
2010-01-29 23:27:05
But what about your plans for mosquito-plague world domination?

Me and my flat-mates once dropped 60 litres of water on someone from the 7th floor of a tower block at Uni, out of our bin. It was an accident, we were just going to chuck the water out, but while it was on its way down, this bloke who was on my course walked out of the flats, and stopped underneath this cloud of water as it plummeted toward him. It formed a perfect pyramid on his head, and to his eternal credit, his reaction was to look skywards, and put 2 thumbs up.
