I think the Saints when they were at the Dell should be on the list, but not now they are at St. Monkey's...

Can we have Wimbledon in there too?
2010-01-06 14:42:48
I would add Blackpool for their amazing orange kits, and they have been improving recently.

Anyone watched the horror of the Stoke-Arsenal game?

OUCH!

Shawcross tackles Ramsey and breaks his shin cleanly.
All other players with ashen and horrified faces around them.
Awful sight! Poor lad Ramsey probably out of football for a year at least and Shawcross comes off the pitch red carded and crying for what he did to Ramsey.

Another Eduardo-like injury? What a shame..especially for such a young and prospectful lad...

hopefully it is not too serious, but seeing his leg like that makes you think of the worst :(
2010-02-28 19:04:58
no need for a replay, you could see his leg flopping about from the normal camera:(

not to open a new topic, I'll write here...

can you tell me some information about this game from championship?
Peterborough - Newcastle United

Yeah, Newcastle is first, yeah, peterborough is last, this means newcastle will win?:)
injured, suspended players?
Should I bet on Newcastle?

also, what about:
Burnley - Manchester City

City is up front, needs victory to keep close to 4th place.
Burnley, I suppose it's pretty weak?
Some infos here also would be appreciated :)

Newcastle will stuff Peterborough, but in the Burnley man city game its harder as although Burnley have poor form they are strong at home...

Burnley has played 16 English Premier League matches this season on Turf Moor. On home ground Burnley has won 6, drawn 5 and lost 5 matches. This ranks The Clarets 14th in home team performance in the English Premier League.

Manchester City has played 16 English Premier League matches this season away from home. On away ground Manchester City has won 5, drawn 7 and lost 4 matches. This ranks the Citizens 6th in away team performance in the English Premier League.

they should win, though, if they want to have chances for UCL...

Peterborough - Newcastle United

PUFC: Posh have various injury worries and have also been struck by a sickness bug in the run up to this game. A trio of defenders - Gaby Zakuani, Exodus Geohaghon and Kerrea Gilbert have been unable to train as a result.

Striker Aaron Mclean (knee), defensive duo Craig Morgan and Ryan Bennett (both ankle), winger Chris Whelpdale (ankle) are all missing, but striker Liam Dickinson has now returned to training.

NEWCASTLE United might be on the brink of promotion, but boss Chris Hughton is ready to field a weakened team for tomorrow's potentially decisive visit to Peterborough.

Hughton has virtually a fully fit squad to choose from, with midfielder Alan Smith back in contention after a spell out with an ankle problem.

And the only doubt is striker Andy Carroll, who hobbled out of Monday night's win over Nottingham Forest.

Hughton, while impatient for Newcastle to confirm their return to the top flight, has hinted he is ready to rotate some of his players with the Easter Monday home game against Sheffield United in mind.
