please sack that pathetic excuse of a manager...
2010-03-08 23:55:51
are you suggesting you could do better?
2010-03-08 23:57:17
yes easily.
2010-03-09 00:00:32
write them an email, you would be cheaper too...

Typical really, one of the few times I want a Pool win and they mess it up. I have to say this is a very very poor Liverpool team, they play attrocious football and will NEVER get the 4th place position this season. In fact I would go as far as to say Everton have more chances the way they are playing right now.
2010-03-09 00:23:13
i hate the wa rafa keeps saying ''we played well'' when we were obviously shite.
2010-03-09 00:36:06
Well you do not expect Liverpool to be so poor consistently through a whole season!
2010-03-09 00:43:15
ye, but the manager is to blame, it s all his team he has put together, and they are way off the pace.
2010-03-09 00:51:47
You play such rubbish football - thats the main problem. If it had not been for Gerrard and Torres you'd be nowhere near as high as you are now.
2010-03-09 00:56:14
At times this season the same could be said for my lot without Rooney.

The issue for Liverpool is they seem to have lost the traditional hallmark of a 'top-4' team - the ability to grind out results when playing badly.

Rooney is on fire this season, I always stated he was not a natural striker, but I really feel he was held back until now at Man Utd by Ronaldo being the striker / goalscorer. Rooney was forced wide most of the time by Ferguson, now in the middle he is amazing I have to say....and I hope for England he carries this form on. ;)

liverpool have too much relience on torres (who isnt fully fit) and gerrard (who looks like he cant be bothered) + crap like lucas, insua, kuyt being regular starters, it is askiing for trouble

+ a manager who is too afraid to go for the win and take risks, a manager who always only plays 1 up front for ever single game no matter who we play...
2010-03-09 09:01:47
It is quite shocking how they have become complacent and are now feeling the pressure of resurgents such as Spurs and Man City. Looking on current form though, I can't see them finishing in the top 6 with Villa playing well even under pressure and that will surely end the reign of Rafa. Curiously though, I don't think he is a bad manager, but the football that Liverpool are playing is uninspiring, flat, unmarshalled, vague and passionless.

Hmmm, reminds me of going to Hillsborough...

it really is all to do with the manager im afraid. Liverpool dont go forward quick enough now - when they get the ball they allow the opposition to fall into 2 banks of 4 before they start to think about passing through them. I say through them as currently their full backs have been offering nothing going forward - not even an overlap dummy run is coming down those flanks so everything pushes through the middle.

Very bad tactics which, im afraid, falls entirely onto rafas boots.
