Recently, I tried to download a game that required an emulator to play. This was an N64 game and required a Z64 emulator to run. I found plently of free emulators, but when I downloaded them I was bombarded with first, .bin files, then .rom files. How does the bin and rom file work, and if I'm doing something wrong, can anyone send me a link to a (free) Z64 emulator?
can tyou double click on the .bin file? bin=binary (ususally executable file - careful of virus's mee lad). .rom is usually the game (Read Only Memory - where the game data is held usually)
Project64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator with you can play N64 games on PC.

Once you got the emulator working, will be happy to give you a lot of game links.
