Subject: British elections

It is a sad thing but perhaps common to all high standard of living countries.

Right wing policies become an elitist, fat cat, old guard property, which is unfortunately a result of human inability to stick with hard driven attitudes which brought prosperity in the first place. Becoming complacent and gooey on all sorts of issues, comes hand in hand with left wing policies and masked under 'progressive' guises, while at the same time obliterating all momentum achieved by the original right wing harsher yet competitive drive.

It happens everywhere, yet the "chin-less wonders" are perhaps unique to the UK. :)

how is having an opinion of someone a bad thing? I swear at people all the time and so does everyone else, just about, it is part of being human to vent frustrations.

I don't know, there seems to be a bit of a back-lash to the back-lash. Thinking people seem to be coming round to the idea that everybody does this - just that not everybody gets stitched up by Sky.

I think you're giving far too much credit for intelligence to the masses.
Most people are dumb enough to vote for a new party logo, how many do you think will actually examine the intricacies of politics-media relationships to influence their vote.
