Sir Alex is a great manager , and has an excellent eye for spotting out good buys.. What a bargain he got recently when he signed Owen!

and Berbatov xD
2010-04-14 16:37:06
and veron
2010-04-14 17:23:24
And Barthez, and nani.
2010-04-14 17:30:48
Nani is quality.
2010-04-14 17:31:15
hahahahahahahah! funny guy ! :D

he's good when he's on his feet, but he's a dirty/cheating little bugger. Seems to have a knack of outskilling himself too.
Djemba Djemba, Bellion, Kleberson, Taibi, Bosnich, Carrol, Barthez, Richardson, Manucho

these are just the ones i can remember, im sure i could have put together a title winning team in 16 years with the amount of money he's splashed out.

Berbatov...Lol
2010-04-14 20:48:03
IMHO the problem with Berbatov is that he was expected to play quite different from what he is actually playing like. And I'm not writing about his quality of play ;) What Manchester needed was a tall Ruud V. Nistelrooy type of striker, a typical finisher. Berbatov is no finisher - he has surprisingly good technique for such a tall player, knows how to do some playmaking and passing to wings. The problem is that he always needs a second striker on the field, with whom he could play. But when SAF uses the winger tactic with Giggs/Nani + Valencia and 3 defensively oriented players behind him, he looks a bit crappy...if only Anderson would've been behind him, it would've been a totally different thing.

I'm sure there is someone called ANDERSON, he's pretty hopeless :)
2010-04-14 20:49:31
Anderson is hopeless? In what? He has great technique, is very good at playmaking, knows how to defend, knows that he is expected to fight for the ball and does it.
2010-04-14 21:18:10
and when has Anderson, say, had a really good game?
2010-04-14 21:19:15
michael carrick and fletcher are better than anderson, even thoough i hate them.
2010-04-14 21:23:59
carrick is nothing special either, definately not worth £18.6m
2010-04-14 21:30:54
Anderson sucks at striking xD. I lose count of all the horrific misses.
2010-04-14 21:50:31
Rather have carrick for 18.6 million than aquilani for 20 mill haha. :)
