Anyone affected by the ash cloud?

I was. An absolute nightmare.

I've just got back from Southern Germany in a shared taxi, via a middle of the night ferry.

Got a €700 receipt for my company.....

No, I had a nice bike ride today :P

Was down the park for ages, nice and sunny.
Went paragliding yesterday as well :)

I was walking to the shops and when suddenly some frozen baguettes and a black forest gateau dropped out of the sky and nearly hit me.

Apparently it was the fallout from Iceland.

Yeah....Went over to France for a day trip on Friday 16th April....And coming back was chaos on the ferry.....P&O are rubbish when they get busy thats all I can say.


And so many people were getting ripped of over ticket prices, I heard one guy pay £90 for a single to Dover!

There's a bloke on another forum who has got stuck in south america. KLM seem to be claiming that he doesn't have a leg to stand on as it's an act of god, so he'll be out of pocket for the eventual flight home.

bummer on the money but there are worse places to be stuck. Naaaarch or Rogi's basement for example...
