The Icelanders (sp) can no more direct the behaviour of their volcanoes than the performance of their banks, but sometimes attention is all that is required to make one feel warm and fuzzy... oops, that is what the volcano does to you. :)

i suspect woppa created a major international incident which left shadowy government agencies that left MI6 no option but to trigger a volcanic erruption capable of closing airspace long enough for the woppa mess to be cleared up. it's only a theory but you know it makes sense
