Much more to come from him I can tell you!
I cant believe they didn't take Junior Khanye as an extra striker! He'd have finished that second chance off... Absolutely delighted though, and proud to be associated with South Africa!

Franco is getting the gig as manager of Liverpool.

I wonder if there will be a late winner in the France - Uruguay game... Not a great game by any means

Thank Christ for that goal, I was having trouble concentrating on the French debacle. With Uraguay playing sunday league bruiser footie it made for a very surly encounter. I am not sure this group is going to povide the most exciting matches of the opening round...
looking forward to todays games though South Korea v Greece should be an interesting match with potential of end to end stuff if the quallies were anything to go by and the Argentinians v Nigeria could be a corker if the Nigerians can bag one early, otherwise look for Messi to show Rooney how to stay cool under pressure and rack up some bits for the highlights reel this evening. Having said that, Maradona is not a good coach (think Keegan) and if he plays three up front to play Tevez it might be a lot more fun for the Africans.
Apparently there is some more sunday league for the evening game and the papers are all dribbling over Capello's genius tactics of which I have seen nothing so far... Personally I would play Rooney up front by himself and lil Stevie playing off his shoulder. I am betting Fabio goes with a very much more exciting* 4-4-2.
* for exciting read soggy, stagnant and the midfielders playing too close together...

I bet a fiver on Heskey winning the Golden Boot :)
He's as useful as Fergie and I don't mean SAF!
