I thought I would create this so England fans can vent there anger at Greens cock-up.
BRING ON HART!!!!!
BRING ON HART!!!!!
leave the guy alone, we all make mistakes. you sir are a keyboard warrior.
I like Hart too, but Green is a great keeper, and I feel very bad for him
I was a keeper, still am sometimes. Sometimes it's a little bobble to knock it from your palms, and it's loose. It happens.
Respect to Green for his 2nd half save, it takes guts to fight back'

I dont think there was an awkward bounce or nything, I think it was simply nerves. A genuine mistake...
However I agree with your point... It took a lot for Green to heep his head up and play an otherwise fantastic game after his error

Yeah I agree but at the top level mate, and if we are to have any hope of going through, we really need to be on top form and lets face it he has made a few mistakes.
Keyboard warrior?
Keyboard warrior?
You might not see it, but it's millimetres to destroy you.
I feel for Green...
I blame the whole team.. they could play better for sure.

rooney was absolute rubbish for 70 minutes as well. heskey played very well, apary from the missed header...
@ mattius
...and the shot straight at Howard's midriff.
I agree his link-up play was good, but he just doesn't have a striker's instinct
Had he put that shot across Howard, he would almost certainly have parried it - as most keepers seem reluctant to try and catch the new ball - and Rooney was in prime position to slot a rebound home.
The alternative is Crouch, but he lacked any touch in the 20 minutes he played - there was no link-up play at all.

Yeah Wayne spoony looked at little lost at times and got in the way of play.
I also thought Frank Lampost took ages to get into the game.

@ Muhajir
sure England can play better, but then so can Argentina's defence, Mexico's strikers, etc.
England created enough chances to win the match, and but for an absolute howler probably would have.
We had a dodgy spell for about 10-15 minutes after we scored and again in the 5 minutes after Green's moment, but apart from that we looked fairly solid, if unspectacular.
But opening group matches after often tense, cagey affairs - with only 3 games you can't afford to lose first time out.
Looking towards the Algeria game, if King is now out, it could be a problem as Carragher looked a yard too slow at this level...

LOL @ Heskey shooting straight at our Keeper in his 1v1!
Just a 1v1 basically and he has almost every angle but put it right at our Keeper's feet!

Yes because Heskey can't score. "Brilliant save!" said the commentators. No it wasn't, it was straight at him.
As for Green, wave your England career goodbye! :D HART TO PLAY AGAINST ALGERIA!

i just listened to Greens interview on bbc website.
He is blaming the ball - COME ON!! I am and still am a keeper. What i am also is a qualified keeper coach. Green made a basic simple error if you watch it again. He quite simply said to himself "easy save". Why do i know that? Look just as the shot is hit - he lifts his hands UP from the "set" position instead of moving his feet. Basic Basic Basic arrogant mistake. People can say he didnt have his body behind the ball - which is totally correct but again that was caused by the lifing of his hands from the set position instead of moving his feet.
Capello knows this and will no doubt study it and question Green today maybe tomorrow as to why he did that. I 100% expect Hart to get the nod in the next game due to this fundamental error.
