i dont know why everyone hates him, i love him :)

they'd been complaining about the ball before the game. so at least he's consistent.

That goal, however, was ridiculous. Get in front of the ball to block it. Yes, the ball probably did make it harder to block, but he needed to get in front of it.

the ball did make it harder to block - without the ball there would have benn no goal at all.

Robert Green is not a great goal keeper.



Thats why he plays for West Ham.

That sort of sacriligious comment can lead to a ban!

no one said he was great, but he is the best that England has at the moment.

A squad of has beens and could have beens..

I would like to see Joe Hart start...Yes he lacks caps..


But why take him, if only to sit him on the bench.


Remember Walcott last time?

I still think Green is our best but its a close call. ;)

Ive always said Hart... He looks more impressive all round, despite his lack of experience compared to the others

it is different for goalies though...

Green has been rubbish for most of the season, it's Capello's one big mistake is that he didn't give other keepers enough chances when his No1 was so badly out of form, it's ok not playing James as he's got enough experience to know what to do, but the younger players needed games, unfortunately he gave Foster the chances when Green wasn't available and not Hart,but if everyone is saying you can't play Hart becuase of experience then there really was no point in bringing him and Robinson should have been on the plane instead, as at least thne you bring a keeper in some sort of decent form who's actually got a chance of playing.

Oh and talk of Green and Upson being in the back 5 is a really worrying thought.

Carragher worries me just as much to be fair.

carra is better than upson though tbh.

He got skinned by Altidore though, and thats a worry. I personalyy would not have taken Carragher....he never really strikes me as bothered when it comes to England.

That he does, we'll just have to play someone with no experience the.....oh.
