Sorry but i must disagree rooney played alot better. Just one goal rooney needs to score and he will play even better with the confidence that he will get from scoring.

rooney played much netter, he looked like he acually wanted the ball.

Despite the much improved performance and win today, England have missed a gilt-edged chance to reach the semi's.

Spoonie doesn't look match fit for some reason, but when he went off we couldn't string anything together, even a bit. Looking forward to Sunday now ;-)

Agree, (although the USA hasn't played particularly good football either) but I'd rather have tried our luck against any of those four. Now we have Germany then, should we win, Argentina or Mexico.

To be fair we haven't looked like we could beat Ghana or Germany. Lets hope for a dramatic change of form for half the team if we are going to stand a chance!
