I've not minded him so much but his muppetism is beginning to annoy me. His stats are bobbins too, reckons they won all their qualifiers when how can they when they are only a win run of 9?

they strolled their group. I was over in dam when they pumped Scotland - abslutely fantastic football. They keep their width perfectly. Very good team to watch

Townsend played for Norwich for years. But doesn't like to admit to it. He is, to an extent, ITVs' scapegoat presenter, the one we can all have a little chuckle at for being rubbish - and to be fair to him he is good at making the others look professional.

Edit : Although as someone on another forum pointed out, listening to Gareth Southgate talk about where Capello went wrong is a little bit like listening to Ian Beale from Eastenders ripping the p**s out of Robert De Niro.
