Meireles is awesome at playing the free role just behind the striker, Maxi should have scored but overall is improving, and Gerrard was pretty poor, but we can see the determination of the players, ther really love the king and steve clarke.

I actually think that if you go out and buy two genuine wide players(1 right, 1 left) and give your side some width and allow Meireles to play in the middle you should be able to get 6th by the end of the season, oh and also buy someone who can win it in the air up front. Oh and drop Torres.

I posted that on 1/1/11, and while you've found a work around for the 2 wide players, having Meireles in the middle really is helping and is showing why you payed so much for him. Amazingly 4th is a genuine target now, and I believe you've still got to play the big boys at home?
