Very true mate..
Until they sit in the Kop end and enjoy what is Liverpool FC.....They have no idea.
Norwich is just moody about us ripping into his team.
And Jaize always thinks he is right.....If you disagree with him he will call you stupid....Always been his way....His way of trying to win arguements.

Actually I'm with jaize on this one. Although his choice of team might not be intelligent, all evidence on here points to him being considerably cleverer than yow. ;)...

He is more clever than me I would never deny that.
But then you would agree with those who support you.
And his choice of team is much more more intelligent than yours!
Owls are much better than Canaries!

As I have said many times before, if you are fortunate enough to live in a big-ish english city, you don't choose your team. Your team is where you are from.
You "win" arguments by means of getting the last word. At least in your head you do...
I bet the long car journeys flew by when you two were kids...

i live 5 minutes away from anfield, and my whole family supports liverpool. apart from one of my aunties haha :)
Fair play to you, they're yours and you are stuck with them, like I am stuck with mine. I bet turricant uses the Bootle helipad though...
I live in South-west Wales unfortunately, and I have never been to Anfield to see a game, but my whole family supports Liverpool, and anyway, no-one can call a Liverpool fan a gloryhunter!
oh and in case you're wondering, my nearest team is Welsh Premier side Haverfordwest, and then Swansea City, both of whom I support and have been to see.
why not ? Didn't you start following them as a kid, when they were winning everything ?
hmm, you may be correct, he is at that age. but if he is a glory hunter he would be supporting united or chelsea :)
champions league win not glorious enough for glory hunters ?
yeah, but if he really was a glory hunter, he would suport a team now who should be challenging for titles and trophies, that is not us at the minute.
The concept of a footballer or any other professional chasing the money arose in the 70s (ish), its not a new thing. Its started when the big chinned one got the wage cap abolished. Its just the money carrot is much bigger now and its here to stay.
Gordon Strachan left Man U back in the day to go to Leeds, when he found he was earning half as much as some of the squad players. He was one of the best players, if not their best player. As he came from Aberdeen his contract was still way better, so he didn't realise he was being under-paid.
My mate got offered 4 times his salary to do the same job in Borneo for 2 years. Some take it, some decide they don't want to live near a jungle for a few years.

Aberdeen tried to get Stephen Hughes from Motherwell on about 4k or 5k a week a year or so ago, then the mighty Norwich stepped in and offered 8k.

This may be the case.....But I live in a place with no football team.....So how does this work now?
Plus you can support who you want to.
