Does anybody know if Ryanair cancel the return leg of a journey if you don't use the outbound flight?
I need to book a one way ticket from Oslo to Gatwick, but I'll already be in Norway so I won't need an outbound ticket. However, the single fare is three times the cost of a return, so I might as well buy a return. Just wondering if by not using the outbound, Ryanair assumes the return won't be needed..
Cheers.

Isn't Freestyle England the same as Google...
Cheers anyway. The answer appears to be yes, no and maybe.. I'll risk it. Personally I thought they'd cancel the return in the hope of selling it again.
Next question. How to remove Smart Engine which has installed itself on a colleague's PC..?

Was only joking about smart engine. Already googled it..
How about - Did the Romans really bring nettles to Britain? Does that mean they weren't here before, or that Romans might have brought them just in case there weren't any here? I'm losing sleep here..

Almost worth a go.
A few more randoms and the whatever-degree-of-separation we are now down to should actually leave me to the answer.

If it's Ryanair, there will be no sale value if you are thinking of getting rid that way. I had to change a name of a flight at work. Original flight cost £108.98, changing the name cost £100 on top of that.
Nah, was just going to not use it.
The numbers are tiny anyway - £25 for the return or £84 for the single, but I take a strange pleasure from not paying ryanair a penny more than I have to. Just got a prepaid mastercard to save the booking fees.

Even when I fly Ryainair for cheap, and they are on time, I still hate them.
Something nasty about that company.

Maybe a bully called Ryan did something nasty to you when you were young?
why do you still fly with them then? Have you no principles?
They supply a very good service, assuming your expectations are realistic. I've never had a flight later than 15 minutes, and usually get to sit next to my partner (despite her complaints), without paying for the privilege, although we've never travelled with hold luggage so maybe that part of the experience is rubbish, and expensive.
I know what you mean though, which is why I try and deny them any unnecessary revenue.

Having never flown with them, this is probably unfair. However, the do give the impression that they consider passengers an inconvenience, and their CEO always gives me the feeling that he'd really rather be doing something less inconvenient instead.
