why are you coming to London? If it is to study then fair enough, but if it is to "live life" then you will find it horrible with this type of job. You will have VERY low pay - minimum wage only at £5.93 if over 21 years old. In London this is a VERY small amount to live on. It is an expensive city, especially the night life. And if you are working in the day then you - and often these jobs are also weekends - then you will not get time to enjoy the museums, galleries, etc.

we are in a massive job recession, with half a million public sector workers about to be made redundant and far fewer students likely to go on to university. there will be very few jobs for anyone.
