Is your other half French ? Would being French give her an insight into what French people want from their cities ? And why aren't the competition copying her ? :).
No she is half Scottish/Italian and half English.
Being French would be detremental in this case as they have no clue how to deal with population migration that is beginning to occur there now where as we have had it since the industrial revolution and understand it better.
The competiton just don't have the finesse and value added of some of her innovative ideas. Also they aren't good at budgeting for their bids. It is estimated that Rogers spent about a million per bid and hers are about a quarter of that.

erm... it has been -20 for three days on the bounce in Braemar! How cold have you had it? Besides temperature isn't the whole story when it comes to snow and you will be in the shadow so by the time the clouds get to Wales there isn't any left.
