Both scientists did research in energy.
Einstein discovered the energy in an atom along with his other famous accomplishments.
Tesla created ac current, the x-ray and the radio along with discovering the electromagnetic spectrum. He not only discovered that but a form of energy harvesting which is 97% efficient, which is significant considering petrol is 23% efficient. He also had 111 patents.
