We've had our broadband cut off at home becuase I refused to cover a flatmate's share, again, so if work do get their fascist knickers in a twist over games, then I'll be somewhat inconvenienced.
They've just started recording all phone calls and keeping them on file for up to 2 years. Boo.

What ever happened to trust?
We had an employee take files home as he was "working from home" for a couple of days. Strangly when he came back and was asked if he had copyied the presumably updated files back onto the network. He was evasive. erm just getting around to it. This was a few hours after being back to work. And in the end the files remained the same, but lucky for him. It was only his co-workers that noticed and boss wasn't told. He only need to have 1 guy who didnae like him to put he him in the sh1t. Always stay on good terms with who you work with!
Worst craap Ive seen related to this was a shareholder being taken down to see the boss over allegations of looking at adult content on the web, according to a recent techy report. Actually the guy was playing his usual pool online. At it was using some sort of black webpage. All defaults or unkown webpages were being flagged as adult.
The whole system was chucked after that, Awesome.
