Subject: Windows is quick for 1st time ever..

All I needed was a laptop with Intel Core i7 processor, fast video card with 2GB dedicated memory, 4GB 1333Mhz RAM, 640GB 7200 rpm HDD and almost no software installed.........

How long before I'm back to waiting ages before the darn thing turns on???!!!!

my old laptop had a graphics card with just 128MB of dedicated memory. twas pants.

rather than "virtual memory" which is what I have after too many beers :)

My current laptop is better than yours in performance, but you have more disk space - my laptop did set me back 800 quid, mind you.

Graphic card in my laptop burned up a bit 2 months ago. Maybe I watch too many episodes That '70s Show.

Anyway, since then I have to use a one year old MSI Wind netbook. Pain in the ass, believe me.

my laptops blue and got DELL written on it. Thats about all i know about mine.

There is a download for that. It seems to happen quite a bit while I am programming in old environments.

I switched it on and off twice and it corrected itself. Ho hum.... Thanks for tip though. On last PC in Vista I ended up re-installing bleading windows as it kept happening.....
