A great performance by Barca again, there was really only one team ever in the game.

They are a joy to watch but it really does my head in when the pundits and press drool so much over them like they also do with Spain and brazil because of their pretty football. They act like the team have popped in from another planet or are some sort of miracle of just the right 11 players in the world that could ever play that type of football when reality is that we (England, well the UK really) are capable of playing the same way if we changed our coaching methods and mentality instead of still lumping long balls up the field like we have done since Fred Flintstone last played.

Its down to grass roots I'm afraid. Until we start picking out kids who are really technical instead of powerful fast kids that are huge - we will never ever compete. We also need kids to play on better pitches......3g type pitches and have a mid winter break so that they are not playing on bogs. It will never ever happen though unfortunately.

yes... there is a serious bias on tall powerfull players at grass roots, the short players always get told they wont make it.
