Really getting super excited now. I leave the isle of man for the sunny shores of the UK two weeks today. That will be followed by two weeks of boozing. I was going to say "heavy boozing", but as I haven't had any booze for nearly 6 weeks, i'll be drunk on two pints. Glad I've got a day or two of warming up to do first.

I had a pint the other weekend. My first alcoholic drink in 3 and a half years. It went straight to my head and gave my feet a good lesson in stumbling.

Lightweight? Me? Pfft.

Any reason you've been on the wagon for that long? Are you a mormon?
2006-08-02 14:29:21
I just decided I didn't want to drink/get drunk, so I stopped. Then my now ex didn't drink and didn't like the idea of me drinking. But she's not an issue anymore, and I'm not bothered about it anymore.

Not a mormon.

MY sister is a mormon. My brother and I refer to her, variously, as a moron or a moomin.
2006-08-02 14:43:06
You could try mormoron. It's so subtle she might not even notice until a little while later.
2006-08-02 14:45:42
How are you pronouncing that? Kind of like Cormorant? Or more like it's a stustutter?
2006-08-02 15:25:00
Kind of like Cormorant, yeah. On second thought I don't know why you'd use mormoron though. It doesn't actually make any sense.
2006-08-02 15:25:34
Since when has that stopped you in the past?
2006-08-02 15:47:10
Good point.
2006-08-02 16:08:00
Kind of like Cormorant, yeah.

Tries to scrub mind of the mental picture of woppa's sister covered in oil...

Women covered in oil? Sounds like good times. Unless they're ugly women. Are you suggesting Woppa's sister is an ugo?
