I was a big gamer but have to say I don't remember this one!

I am sat here playing Sensible Soccer as we speak!

You don't remember elite?

Are you under 30?

27 on Monday :)

That will be why. Elite came out in '83....

Seems they have met their target. I've not played Elite either. Though I think I may have it in my loft amongst a load of other stuff for the Amiga.

I did grow up playing quite a few games from the 80's though!

Just not this one...

The Amiga version was quite disappointing considering the Amigas power.

I played the bbc version mostly but not when first released, more in late 80s.

Yup they have funding assuming no big backers pull out last second

I was fortunate in that i have 2 older brothers in their mid-30's so i was around some awesome older games. These are the ones i remember from the Amiga;

Boulder Dash, Bubble Bobble, Chuck Rock, Marble Madness, Prince of Persia, R-Type, Monkey Island, Shadow of the Beast, Speedball, Zool, Swords of Twilight.

I want an Amiga.

Boulder Dash, R-Type, Monkey Island (1st one) and Shadow of the Beast.. Those were brilliant games. R-Type was actually one of the reasons my parents bought me my first computer (c64) in ~mid 80s. Still have my old C64 and Amiga 500. Have to try them someday :)

Many a saturday spent in my mates bedroom on his Amiga. I had an Archimedes, which was a bit more limited for games (Altho did have chuck rock, speedball II & Zool on that list below)

I liked Blood Money, just for the intro. The game was naff.

And Supercars 2.

And Lotus II.

:)

Megadrive was always better than the Amiga though.

no guru meditation with that.
