Lorre to All
I already told you where I`m going and what the main purpose is for the visit. Wimbledon-Fleetwood saturday & Arsenal ManU sunday. (my brother is a gunners fan)

We are definitely visiting a lot of pubs, getting proper drunk. What other things is a must experience thing during a short London weekend?

Ok...first go to Portsmouth...more exactly Fratton Road and shout Let's go Saints ;)...you will be loved.
Second...go to Millwall wearing a Chelsea shirt.
3rd go to Sutton Coldfield by train from Birmingham and have a Birmingham City shirt, a Wolverhampton scarf and a West Brom jacket ...and shout at the Villa station: You are going ...down ...down ...down ...down!
4th...While in Portsmouth pay a ridiculous amount of money for the Ferry and go to The Isle of Wight to see ....nothing! Make sure you buy some tea and toast while on the ferry is like 10 GBP :))

To get serious:
Must do:
1. Go to Yates Pub...have some cider, a foster and a Guinness! While there take the 5 GBP breakfast deal...must try English Breakfast!!!!
2. Admire the English chicks drag their drunk ass at 12 o clock on Commercial Road (or any other city center road)...make sure you take some picks and post them here !!! :)
3. Sit in a 5-8 hours waiting line at the British History Museum!!! For a 20 min tour :))
4. I think Big Ben is not that big... I miss it every time I pass it :))

If bored ...take your phone with you and msg me on what's up! :)

Depends what floats your boat really...

If you are going to be at the Emirates then the bars of Stoke Newington are only a mile away, and from there you can drink your way all the way down to Shoreditch and beyond, with virtually no gaps between bars.

Of course, you will have to run the gauntlet of vintage-retro-hipster-pop up entrepreneur-look at me-******-******s.

Could also try the Rocket on Holloway Road which is where the Arsenal fans go for their post match beers. Very lively after a good result..

All depends.. You can easily waste a lot of time travelling around, so what to do might depend where you are staying.

If you start somewhere like Waterloo train station, you can walk from Waterloo train station to the London Eye (big wheel), along the side of the river, then across the river to Westminster - where you can see Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey. Then from there you can along to Whitehall, where you can kind of see number 10 downing street (Prime Minister's house), then walk through St James Park (not the football ground :) ) and go to see Buckingham Palace (The Queen's house)

If you do it all wearing shorts, a baseball cap, massive camera and a bum bag, and shout a lot, you'll blend in "sure mighty fine" with all the US tourists :)

Alternatively you can simply shout out "“Lord Nelson! Lord Beaverbrook! Sir Winston Churchill! Sir Anthony Eden! Clement Attlee! Henry Cooper! Lady Diana! Maggie Thatcher – can you hear me, Maggie Thatcher! In 1981 Your boys took one hell of a beating! Your boys took one hell of a beating!” and play the Norwegian card instead link for you young uns

You can do all of that in a couple of hours easy, claim to have done some proper stuff, and then spend the rest of the time watching football, drinking beer and other items that Qstatrw is recommending :)

Honestly all the Yates Pubs I have been in ...only had 3 or 4 types of wine for sell...that stupid Rose with the I love you message on the bottle :)) cheesy as heck :))...however the ones in Portsmouth have a nice clubbing venue and I think also the one on Leicester Square (if I am right)...I don't spend much time in London...only when I go home as I always fly from there.

I am mostly in the south or Midlands sometimes!

Thanks guys! Staying at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. Got incredibly cheap Ryanair plane tickets so invested in a posh hotel.

You're not English, are you? We all realise that Yates' are meat markets. Nobody goes there for the wine, yeah?
