Got a conc pop on my nt batter, he needs it! Now remarkable.
I'm 3rd against 2nd today, I'm batting and my openers have survived the first 10 overs.
End of Over 10 (3 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 49-0, runrate=4.90
Walton 5-1-18-0
Piper* 25 (32 balls)
Lane 24 (28 balls)
Pretty decent run rate too. I'm a bit worried about Lane, as he's only energetic, which is 3 levels off top ?

Horstead 4-0-17-0
Mooney* 23 (59 balls)
Lepolesa 58 (41 balls)
Finally reached a ton with both openers out. Not much batting to come, so I'm hoping these two can put on a fair few. Extreme strike rates from them.

Fenton 2-0-9-0
Stratford* 20 (30 balls)
Wilson 24 (95 balls
Going slowly against Ed, could struggle to win this one, I tipped Ed as league winner at the beginning, a draw would do splendidly doodly.

Yep, but he seems to have gotten a better team out, he's won a few on the trot, and probably thinks he may have a chance at winning the league.
It was his batting that let him down last time, so I'll just post a decent score hopefully and see where it gets me....

Cruising quite nicely here, although I'll need 400 + to stand a chance against his batting line-up.
End of Over 45 (7 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 213-2, runrate=4.73
Winnacott 13-1-62-0
Riches* 53 (67 balls)
Lane 103 (121 balls)
Edit : bums.
47.1 W Walton to Riches
Yorker from Walton, and it's got through! Riches played down completely the wrong line, and the ball hit middle stump, great bowling.
End of Over 47 (6 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 221-2, runrate=4.70
Winnacott 14-1-68-0
Riches* 55 (73 balls)
Lane 109 (127 balls)
now 221-3.

249-5, and my opener has just gone for 123.
First class batting averages of those left to bat / batting.
Daniel - 16
Noble - 7
Cranie - 8
Abbott - 1
Littlefair - 1
Lamacq - 3
36
So they should be batting soon, and I should get 2 or 3 batting points.

Grrrrr. all out for 283. My opponent has 40 batting points from 9 matches, which suggests a score of 350 for him in the 1st innings.
nd of Over 6 (1 runs). Keep Licking that Cricketing Elbow: 6-0, runrate=1.00
Trail by 170 runs. (Wolves 176-10)
Convey 3-2-1-0
Tindall* 1 (16 balls)
Garvey 2 (21 balls)
176, that was low, my middle/lower order barely contributed, and considering that's my general advantage over others I'm a little miffed, oh well Ed's going slowly, and my best 2 are yet to come and bowl, he'll need 2 days at this rate to get to my score.

YERS ! That fella has a first class average of 86. He's off with his tail between his legs for the princely sum of 23. :). They're scoring slowly too, which means I might be ok for a draw.
25.2 W Riches to Farr
Edged off the toe of the bat and it's Christmas come early for Cranie.
25.1 . Riches to Farr
No run, hit on the pad, shout for LBW but it was clearly missing off.
End of Over 25 (3 runs). Queens Park CC: 51-0, runrate=2.04
Trail by 232 runs. (Garboldisham Casuals 283-10)
Abbott 4-1-5-0

Teggart 7 (26 balls)
Last Wicket: Tindall c. Wilson b. Webb 13 (FOW: 31/2)
Go get 'em boys!
At least if he gets a big score, it will end in a draw, the only way either of us will win is if he ends his innings on less than 400.
