Ah well, there's always Sundays on here.
2007-12-05 12:03:40
What happens on Sundays?
2007-12-05 12:59:24
End of Over 30 (Maiden). wilsonwanderers: 23-10, runrate=0.77
Trail by 630 runs. (Pboranjing CC 653-5 dec)

*enforces follow on*
2007-12-05 13:20:45
End of Over 5 (2 runs). wilsonwanderers: 4-3, runrate=0.80 (1st Inn: 23-10)
Trail by 626 runs. (Pboranjing CC 653-5 dec)

I'd like to get this wrapped up before I go to work, please.
2007-12-05 13:50:12
End of Over 33 (7 runs). Wolves: 155-2, runrate=4.70
Trail by 41 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)
Malcolm 2-0-11-0
Curtis* 44 (36 balls)
Stratford 67 (84 balls)

Last Wicket: Wilson c. Varney b. Huckerby 36 (FOW: 64/2)

Finished them off withing 7 balls, with no runs conceded, and these 2 are flying going at almost 6 an over between them, I think 500 is the target, hopefully get there today, and then take some wickets late on, leaving a short 3rd day, hopefully anyway.

It's the Groves Show:

End of Over 13 (1 runs). wilsonwanderers: 9-5, runrate=0.69 (1st Inn: 23-10)
Trail by 621 runs. (Pboranjing CC 653-5 dec)
Groves 7-2-6-5

you know, the football stuff.

never mind - game of scrabble ?
2007-12-05 15:09:59
End of Over 53 (6 runs). Wolves: 274-3, runrate=5.17
Lead by 78 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)
Lisbie 15-0-89-0
Bullock* 49 (52 balls)
Stratford 112 (138 balls)

Last Wicket: Curtis c. Kennedy b. Cook 58 (FOW: 179/3)

Still flying, hopefully carrying on a t 5.17 will get me 230 in 45 overs time, leaving 10 overs to bowl at them tonight.
2007-12-05 15:11:17
Now approaching declaration target of 600 without the loss of a wicket. His bowlers must be the worst bowlers in the history of rubbish bowlers.

End of Over 93 (10 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 596-0, runrate=6.41
Lead by 363 runs. (All Guns Blazing 233-10)
Swann 31-3-154-0
Lane* 329 (281 balls)
Piper 261 (280 balls)

Edit : In other news, the league leaders (ahead of me by 50 points) might be about to lose their game. Bit of a run chase for them, and they're 3 wickets down already...

End of Over 23 (5 runs). Derbyshire: 81-3, runrate=3.52 (1st Inn: 101-10)
Trail by 321 runs. (spitting furballs 137-10 & 366-5 dec)

It would be really cool if there's something to play for in the last game of the season against them.

End of Over 56 (12 runs). Wolves: 316-3, runrate=5.64
Lead by 120 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)

End of Over 55 (18 runs). Wolves: 304-3, runrate=5.53
Lead by 108 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)

End of Over 54 (12 runs). Wolves: 286-3, runrate=5.30
Lead by 90 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)

3 overs later, and 42 runs have been added, runrate from 5.17, to 5.64, at 5.64 from now on, and i only need 33 overs more, saving 10 overs, hmm 20 at them tonight sounds much better.

Think I've just found a bug in the declarations. They didn't declare at the end of over 95, when I was 1 run over the target of 600, instead they batted on to 606, when the batsmen had scored 600.

On that basis, I think that extras aren't counted for declarations.

End of Over 96 (5 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 606-0, runrate=6.31
Lead by 373 runs. (All Guns Blazing 233-10)
Heywood 31-0-174-0
Piper* 264 (285 balls)
Lane 336 (294 balls)
95.6 4 Heywood to Lane
Edged wide of Beresford and four.
95.5 . Heywood to Lane
Good length delivery played back down the track. No run.
95.4 . Heywood to Lane
A touch of inswing turns Lane's glorious cover drive into an inside edge onto the pad. He missed out there.
95.3 1 Heywood to Piper
On the back foot, straight bat, stroked to mid on, fielder running in from the boundary.
95.2 . Heywood to Piper
That one shaped away nicely but Piper wasn't tempted and just shoulders arms to let it go through to Beresford.
95.1 . Heywood to Piper
Nothing off that ball and you can see the batsman's frustration.

End of Over 95 (2 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 601-0, runrate=6.33
Lead by 368 runs. (All Guns Blazing 233-10)
Swann 32-3-156-0
Piper* 263 (282 balls)
Lane 332 (291 balls)

I agree about the extras/declare thing as it happened to me the other week...

I am winning, as per...

me 700 and lots -1 dec.
them 75-10
me batting for the rest of the day
them skittled before the fizzy pop arrives tomorrow
2007-12-05 16:02:34
I put a thread in sledging england, to be told that "it's all to do with the leadership of your captain", blah de blah de bo**ocks. Oh, and next time, could I put the thread in the bugs forum I didn't know existed.

Stuff 'em. It's a bug. get over it.
2007-12-05 17:39:47
End of Over 91 (8 runs). Wolves: 523-4, runrate=5.75
Lead by 327 runs. (Suffolk Bouys 196-10)
Varney 17-0-91-0
Bullock* 138 (152 balls)
Goodliffe 41 (29 balls)
Last Wicket: Stratford c. Varney b. Malcolm 222 (FOW: 463/4)

I was set to declare at 500, and had a few extras, you're onto something methinks, anyway, I'll have 17 overs at them I think, should be enough to get a few wickets.
2007-12-06 00:33:08
Won my match by an innings and about 600 in the end. Leaves me needing 18 points, or Can I Cricket? losing 18 points or any combination of gaining or losing points that adds up to 18, for me to win the champeeeeenship. Bearing in mind that I intend to bat for three days in the last match of the season, thus ensuring 5 batting points there, what do you reckon I should declare on in my next match? Basically 300 or something should cut it, I reckon. Maybe 280 to get a third batting point.
2007-12-06 10:26:49
sounds about right.
