Phew. An unlikely 27 from my wickie prevents the usual collapse, and the 7th wicket partnership gets another 70 runs on the board.

That could be the difference between winning and losing this match.

End of Over 50: 271-6, runrate=5.42
Hatcher 10-0-48-1
Lane* 124 (138 balls)
Cranie 27 (27 balls)
Replies to self :

Abbott 3-0-9-1

Looking comfortable for a win, now to sort out the wreckage of my squads' PFL for yet another crucial FC match on tuesday.

Well my OD form has plummeted, lost 3 weeks ago because I TIE'd, lost 2 weeks ago because I messed up the orders, and looking like losing this week, though not through any error on my part. atm I'm 8 points of top, those 2 losses have hit me hard, I'll now be making sure I finish 4th in OD, while winningn my FC league.

Also Ed pointed out to me, that III next season in FC could be very interesting, as it's the first time people will promote into it, could be really difficult, hopefully I go into a league where the 3 stayers wont be bothered, but there seems some really nasty III's, i.e Phils in one of them. argh I don't stand a chance.

Hmm - * wonders if a last gasp stab at promotion into a FC III is really such a smart idea... *

* tries anyway *

End of Over 36: 169-3, runrate=4.69, reqrunrate=7.36 (271-3)
Manchester 8-0-31-1
Curtis* 68 (83 balls)
Goodliffe 41 (58 balls)
Last Wicket: Stratford lbw b. Manchester 37 (FOW: 81/3)

and somehow I'm back in this one, they got 108 off the last 10, which was annoying, but if I can get 20 in 4 overs, leaving me with 80 to get off 10, I may get there.

I might have spoken too soon -

That's a very similar looking game you got there.
