A partnership starting to develop here, hopefully. I need these blokes to steer me to 200 + ideally.

His best bowler just finished his second stint (I hope) with a wicket.
54.6 W Daniel to Noble
It's in the air... and OUT! Excellent fielding from Hudson. He had some ground to make up but he got there in the end and held onto the catch.
End of Over 55 (7 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 202-4, runrate=3.67
Trail by 143 runs. (quatt 2nds 345-10)
Daniel 16-2-73-3
Lane* 130 (172 balls)
Daniel 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Noble c. Hudson b. Daniel 23 (FOW: 202/4)
Looking at trailing by 100 unless the last 2 batsmen can hang around like Noble did for 20, with Lane getting 30 at the other end. If Lane gets out it's curtains.

How apt...
73.1 W Eyre to Lane
Someone give the chubby lady a nudge, Lane is out, clubbing a tired drive to Bhutia at mid-off.
End of Over 73 (Maiden, 1b). Garboldisham Casuals: 241-8, runrate=3.30
Trail by 104 runs. (quatt 2nds 345-10)

Last Wicket: Kearns c. Goodliffe b. Lomas 0 (FOW: 236/9)
Just 1 more needed, 22 points in the bag again once I get it, with 2 games left, I reallu should get promotion.

Littlefair 4-2-7-0
Hayter* 2 (16 balls)
Verma 10 (26 balls)
Watching this game drift away is as slow, and as unavoidable as watching the iceberg hit the titanic. I need their first 4 out before over 16 or they'll run away with it once 3, 4, and 5 bowl at them.

awww, and only 3 runs short, match done and dusted, pleased as I lost to them first time round.

Forster* 104 (138 balls)
Heads 66 (71 balls)
I set my dec target at 700 I think, I wanted to actually get one of my home games to get to the third day! They usually finish after a day and a half, and I always miss the extra money for the third day!!

hmm - series V ? Guessing you'l lbe promoted too.
Typical, you move away from the monitor for 5 seconds and this happens :).
10.4 W Littlefair to Hayter
Hayter edges and Cranie takes it easily. Cheerio!
10.3 1 Littlefair to Grayston
Guided down to third man for a single.
10.2 . Littlefair to Grayston
Cranie fails to take that cleanly but the non-striker wasn't backing up, so no run attempted.
10.1 W Littlefair to Verma
A quick delivery and Verma is left looking back at his stumps. He's gone!
They're now 23-2, which is actually an improvement on the first innings by 15 runs. wickets 3 and 4 have to fall, and soon.

Yeah, I had a really bad season last season and got trashed all over the place. FC games have been quite good for me so far, but I think I will get thrashed every week in 4 :( My team actually isnt that good at all considering the amount of time I have been playing it!!! And I am actually 2nd in my FC league, messed up my orders in a game and dropped points :(

You might not be. It depends where people's priorities lie - Stansfield Superjets get pasted every week in my FC league, but they save themselves for Cartmans' OD league.
Shame you're second, do you still have to play 1st ?

Last FC game of the season ;)
Somehow though I am 10 points behind them!!!!

Ah - that'll be batting / bowling points. You'll make that up if you beat him, it's 14 points for a win.
I have a question - the only way I can get anything out of this game now is to try for a draw, if I set every players' batting orders to very defensive, is there a possibility that I will eek out a draw ? Or if I tell a destructive player to do that, will they just go and get out ?
Apologies if this seems like a question with an obvious answer.

I leave mine on very defensive or defensive all the time, and they do ok.
