Subject: Battrick
I'd think £1.5m tbh, based on what I bought last season, i'm unsure as to when to sell, i'll probably just list him around 8ish tonight, just before the games start.
First FC game starts!
I expect a tough season, a test of defensive orders - I hope for many draws.

Similar here, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this when I logged on:
End of Over 7 (5 runs, 1b). Durrington Albion: 8-2, runrate=1.14
Groves 4-3-5-0
Le saux* 1 (6 balls)
Hedley 4 (3 balls)
After I'd gotten over the shock of thinking it was me batting, that is. When I realised I haven't got any players called Le saux and Hedley, I was quite pleased.

End of Over 11 (1 runs, 4b). Leeds Apathetical: 37-0, runrate=3.36
makes a change to the 5-7 an over stuff I managed last year but not bad considering their bowler has a higher BT rating than any two of my guys added

yes - I'm in III.5 now - I merely aspire to stay there this year.
Of course if the opposition prioritise OD I could do better as I'm concentrating on FC
Boo!
End of Over 14 (2 runs, 1b). Leeds Apathetical: 43-1, runrate=3.07
Duncan 7-1-12-1
Delaney* 13 (42 balls)
Copeland 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Camp c. Alnwick b. Duncan 18 (FOW: 43/1)
13.6 W Duncan to Camp
Camp went for the jugular, but ended up finding Alnwick in the deep, who shows a great pair of hands to take the catch.

Same here. I think some people are using the tactic I used to in putting two "daywatchmen" to open so that they take some of the sting out of the opening bowlers on the other team. Best bats at 3 and 4 can then come in for the lesser bowlers.
Now, after 22 overs, my best two bowlers are taking a rest. I have my third priority bowler who is pretty decent. The last two suck. So any new batsmen will probably face one, maybe two less good bowlers.
Seems like it's worked, if that's what my oppo have done.

'daywatchmen' could be particularly effective if the opponents aren't fielding quite their A team - bound to be some low stamina about then.
I've gone for a mix - my best are at 1, 4 and 5

Mine are 2-4. One day watchman, and one guy with stupidly good concentration opening. Usually works.
