Wonderful/wonderful fast bowler is the pick.
Remarkable bowl/quality bat medium pacer all rounder.
Exceptional batter and a quality bat are the others.

until they brought in FC I thought of it as a beta, I am starting to think it still is as it still needs more to be very interesting

I got bored when they started putting 20 : 20 competitions in half way through the first class / one day seasons. How stupid was that exactly ?

very. it does my head in, you should be able to opt out of leagues etc.

I don't mind that - the point of the game as I see it is how to manage your team around all the many games.

I just think there's too little to do to influence results, you just put out your team in FC and that's pretty much it. The GFI, etc orders in short games are a blunt instrument, and that's it really

Is there no significance then to pitch types, bowling orders etc etc? I just play the same guys in the same order every time, but then I don't actually know much about cricket at all. I just play it as an asset management game..

there's supposed to be, but I don't think the differences are large

They are supposed to be improving things so you can do more with pitch and orders

as well as make wicketkeepers and fielding more obviously useful

The whole game suffers from being a bit single skilled - this is one advantage SK has over HT or BT - the lack of single skill monsters or 'guns' as BT calls them

I shall keep playing though and see where it goes
