My U-19 prospect popped in Stamina and Fielding. Also 1 more Stamina pop for another trainee.

Prices in the transfer market seem a bit bonkers to me, I've not really go involved, preferring to train my own players up so far. How much do you reckon these are worth ?

You could probably sell the following players for the following amounts if you list a couple of times, th market has gone a bit crazy:

Joey Lamacq - 22 yo: 8.25 million
Lee Lane - 22 yo: 7.75 million
Eamonn Lawrenson - 22 yo: 8.25 million
Hamish Riches - 20 yo: 4.7 million.
2007-06-04 14:03:43
Of course, if you to list the for zero, I reckon you may get around 200-500k less for each player depending on your luck.
2007-06-04 14:58:22
crazy. trouble is, would i be able to buy better ? I'm guessing probably not. Would I get a bite if I listed them for 2 million more each ? Then I could replace what I had, and add another player too.
2007-06-04 16:11:29
Well, I already pretty much stated the highest price you can hope to get without get.

You could maybe list a little higher, but don't be surprised if you don't get a sale.
2007-06-04 16:21:52
I guess it's all down to how fluid the market is. I seem to be doing ok without trading, maybe I'll chance my arm with a sale and see how I go.

How old do players get before you see diminishing returns in sale value ?
2007-06-04 17:00:42
You will be ok between 22 to 26 I would say, there is no real change in value.

The real falls in sale value come around 30 odd.
2007-06-04 18:34:44
Could you tell me how much my best couple of players are worth?

Richard Appleby - 20 yo, BT Rating=27,669

Dwight Winn - 20 yo, BT Rating=20,058
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, proficient batting form, superb bowling form, fair
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Richard Appleby - 20 yo: You could maybe get a bid at 3.15 million. Worth a little less than that in my opinion, but I reckon if you list for 3.15 a couple of times you will get a bid.

Dwight Winn - 20 yo: Worth around 3 million I reckon, could probably sell for 3.65 million if you list at that price.
2007-06-04 20:18:15
Bear in mind guys that the prices I list are generally pretty speculative, I always feel its best to list a little high and then reuduce the price my maybe 200k if you don't get a bid then list again.
2007-06-05 00:49:20
Am I the only fool that trains fielding?
2007-06-05 01:33:56
I love fielding although I have to admit it is under-valued on the transfer market so I don't choose to train it myself.
2007-06-05 01:36:30
Apart from a notable exception, I intend to keep my trainees til the end of their careers, give or take, so I guess that's why I am the only gimp training it :)
