What did eggy do? Been away for a bit and haven't been bothered to go onto the boards on BT yet.
2007-06-26 17:08:32
He was accessing parts of the site he shouln't basically, had a few warnings, carriedon, so got chucked off.
2007-06-28 14:57:01
I think the multiple warnings and bannings were for other reasons. The URL thing was the final straw. He says he only did it the once anyway.

Well onto more BT related stuff now, and Tench went and got 3 wickets in his first England U-19 match, i like to think he was the main reason we won on Tuesday, due to his timing of wickets, and the wickets he actually took.
2007-06-28 15:14:50
You are probably right about that. He really pinned them back at the right moment. My U19, Henk, got a wicket too, but more importantly didn't make an ass of himself as an 18yo
2007-06-28 15:38:25
Yep, the current set-up believe Eggy put too many 18yo's into the squad, so i'm not sure how they are going to deal with some 18yo's.
2007-06-28 16:18:59
There will be two 18 year olds dropped I think. The problem with having 18 year olds in the squad is that they will be the players in the WC, and they need to be trained like crazy. This means they will have low PFL as well as being worse than the 19 year olds in the squad, and essentially they will be carried by the 19 year olds.
2007-06-28 18:50:40
I am afraid that my current U19 player might be one of the ones who is sacrificed.. :-(

Will have to decide if I can be bothered giving him silly training if he isn't in the U-19 squad...
2007-06-28 23:13:57
If mine is, he'll receive whatever nets I chose and sod the U19s. I can't be arsed to train for on the chance he might make it next season. Mind you, there are no other decent F 18yo around, so hopefully he'll escape the chop.
2007-06-29 02:15:01
Well, if MatSykes wins the elections as he should, you can expect to actually get some decent feedback from him regarding your players rather than Bc8, who was Eggy's personal assistant!

It is of course up to you how much you choose to train your players, but as I think I am correct in saying they are both currently looking good for the squad, if you give the nets asked of you, you will certainly have a couple of U-19 players next season.
2007-06-29 10:16:13
Heh, if he's not in the U19 squad this season, I need him to play this season. That means less nets. I can't have him sitting on the boundary munching nets and wages not playing, whether me or U19.
2007-06-29 12:59:08
Ah, you're not in the "I have £6.5m in the bank gaining 80k interest a week, which pays for all players wages" then.
2007-06-29 13:03:11
Im well hacked off.Well on course to chase down 304 needing 5 per over for the last 3 overs then they go and get 7 wickets from the last 3.2 overs.Absolute nonsence
2007-06-29 13:09:07
I've messed around with my batting order, and it seems to have worked, i'm:

113-0 after 25 at 4.52 runs per over.

I've still got my best 2 batters to come aswell.

The problem, is 've chnaged my bowling sequence, and just hope it doesn't mess everything up.
2007-06-29 13:23:56
great 10 overs for me

20 overs = 99-2

30 overs = 109-4
2007-06-29 13:25:33
i think you just ruined it.
