i think you just ruined it.
2007-06-29 13:25:55
I will win easily my batsmen are just too good.
2007-06-29 13:26:22
you're right the next over went for 17
2007-06-29 13:30:35
A prof/prof batsman lasted 31 overs, and now he is gone, I'm not too bothered, as I now have a better batsmen in, but hopefuly, I've just found the guys best position.
2007-06-29 14:04:19
just lost the low stamina second opener in over 40, who was struggling, so hopefully the attacking batsmen that has come in, lasts the last 10 overs and adds around 50-70 runs.

I bowled a team with Wonderful Top Order, Proficient Middle order and Feeble lower order for 96.

Its an easy run chase for me now, very happy with that on a TIE, now on to Sundays cup game against Impurity's side.
2007-06-29 14:33:53
You're actually pretty good at this then!!
2007-06-29 14:36:46
I should be in div.1 in a couple of seasons I would say, so yep.

Here is my last reporters summary on a PAN:

Reporter's Summary
Phils hotspurs
Top Order: exquisite
Middle Order: remarkable
Lower Order: woeful
Seam Bowling: sensational
Spin Bowling: remarkable
Fielding: competent

How did you get that good, is it just single or double netting players??
2007-06-29 14:41:18
Well, I started near the end of season two, so I had a long way to catch up, more than just getting a good training regime.

I currently train only primaries and am training 9 seperate players, on single nets (One all-rounder). My training is based largely around generating transfer profit, although there are 5 or so long term trainees in there.

I primarily got good by using the transfer market, I have skill traded, I have day traded, always sold high bought low etc. Oh, and I also rate secondaries higher than most, they give a nice boost to my match ratings.
2007-06-29 14:46:58
Ah, well I think I'll be well set up to do what you're doing for next season.

I have 3 batsman currently training atm, along with 2 bowlers(who take up 7 between the 2) But as of next season, I'll be training 4 batters, with a mix of 1 and 2 between them(fitness nets are needed on them)+ 1 bowler, who I need to replace, then.

So what primary skills are your players, mine are strong/superb, and the lesser players, that I need to replace are resp/prof primary players, i'm expecting say quality-remarkable, with maybe a wonderful in there??
2007-06-29 14:47:59
"Ah, you're not in the "I have £6.5m in the bank gaining 80k interest a week, which pays for all players wages" then."
Exactly. Can't imagine why anyone plays a game to hoard imaginary cash. And I need him to stay up, as a utter thrashing today demonstrated.

I made 78-10, and lost in less than 15 overs
2007-06-29 14:49:28
playing hardest team in my league and finished with 231 all out which i didnt think was enough but after two overs i have taken 2 early wickets and it is currently 14-2
2007-06-29 14:55:52
Well, firstly, my secondaries are not just quite good, they are very good! As well as very high conc/cons, my players tend to have competent or higher experience and an average level of proficient stamina.

As for primaries, the first 6 bats are all quality-wonderful and all my bowlers are quality-wonderful.

I usually make around 4 or 5 million a season from 'day-trading' with no training, or often no playing for my team, I think that is probably one of the biggest factors in my success.

My easiest win yet i think....

And that's the end of the match. Jock Saltires won by 331 runs.
Jock Saltires 365-1
SharkBite 34-10
2007-06-29 17:03:17
And that's the end of the match. Wolves won by 125 runs.
Wolves 252-2
Three Stumps 127-10

Simple in the end, but around overs 19-20 when still for 2, I was a little edgy, but Webb came in took wickets and didn't concede runs, and it was over soon after that.
