Also, 4 of my 5 trainees are 20 now (the other is 17) should I buy a whole new set or are they okay to carry on being trained.

Phil fox is better equiped to answer you, but I'd suggest at least the better 2 of the 4 to carry on training them, to a higher level.

I'm not sure but i'd think training players till they turn 22 may be a good thing, with secondaries.

Malcolm is not a very good trainee to be honest, it wouldn't take much to buy better. How much money do you have?

I have £490k so I guess I can get some pretty good trainees with that? Tbh, my team is pretty poor so anyone with a competent primary and a decent secondary would get into my team.
