Subject: Battrick
And that's the end of the match. Wolves won by 125 runs.
Wolves 252-2
Three Stumps 127-10
Simple in the end, but around overs 19-20 when still for 2, I was a little edgy, but Webb came in took wickets and didn't concede runs, and it was over soon after that.

My div is far, far too easy. I've got to the stage where I'm trying to bat first just to see if I could get over 400. In today's game I needed 28 balls to win after bowling out the other team for 33. Also, 4 of my 5 trainees are 20 now (the other is 17) should I buy a whole new set or are they okay to carry on being trained.
Phil fox is better equiped to answer you, but I'd suggest at least the better 2 of the 4 to carry on training them, to a higher level.
I'm not sure but i'd think training players till they turn 22 may be a good thing, with secondaries.

wow a 59 run victory against the best team in my current division 5. Not doing too bad in my second season battrick after getting promoted from 6 last season
Won strangely easily away against #2.

Personally I tend to stop training players when they reach 21. Just seems a waste to make them a little bit better, when you could buy a 17yo and see him grow a lot more.

Well redjim got totally smashed on a flat pitch today by a spinner. His super spinner managed to do nothing and his batters were totally decimated!

Ok, I guess the next question is how much money do you have in the bank?!
For now I would say you should train with the following nets, sticking with them until the players final pop during their 22nd year:
Appleby: 1xBat
Winn: 1x Bat, 1xBowl
Yate: 1xBowl
Cable: 1xBat
1x Fitness net, rotated around the trainees.
Malcolm is not a very good trainee to be honest, it wouldn't take much to buy better. How much money do you have?

I have £490k so I guess I can get some pretty good trainees with that? Tbh, my team is pretty poor so anyone with a competent primary and a decent secondary would get into my team.
I got completely thumped, didn't I! I've got no chance of going back up now...
It was quite a shock, i'm not doing particularly well. Looks like it will be 6th place and no doubt i will lose a qualifier ;)
