same amount i think. nets aren't match specific.
2007-09-14 21:36:59
What about match experience then? Is that relevant?

Yes.
2007-09-14 23:09:23
So good teams get better?
2007-09-15 09:48:17
If they were getting worse, they wouldn't be very good teams, now, would they?
2007-09-15 12:33:31
er, yes.

I meant more betterer than the others.

As in polarisation.
2007-09-15 13:47:41
Like light?
2007-09-15 13:52:27
Yes, exactly like light, although I think wealth is an easier thing to understand the polarisation of...

What was the question again?
2007-09-15 14:04:35
Is there a distinct advantage given to the better teams due to them getting more experience due to a larger amount of BT20 fixtures thus pulling away from the lesser teams?
2007-09-15 14:05:22
Not in my view because nobody really knows how much effect experience has and thus it is undervalued on the transfer market. cf fielding.

So the established teams will still have a head start though as if training is a finite number of nets per player per skill, those teams that have had more will never be caught... yes?
2007-09-15 14:18:52
Yes and no. You can buy players that have been netted by others, increasing the number of total mannetweeks in your team. That requires money, clearly, and experience doesn't seem to be valued on the TL.

Also, remember that single netting is one mannetweek but double netting is less than two mannetweeks. A certain foxy sokker user would suggest you only ever use one net per skill per player. Some people on BT have misunderstood his stance of single netting to mean one net per player. I don't think he means that.

Anyhoo, my tactic is slow, and means I should (relatively) slip backwards for a couple of seasons more at least. It's just how I want to play. Choose a more efficient method than me and those like me, and you can catch us up no worries.

It seems to be that you have to decide between training to win and training to sell though as the progress doesn't seem to be too quick...

I am currently training to win as with some mysterious handout I am making small profits so I am spreading my nets about except one bloke I quite like that gets different skills.

The transfer market is all alien to me as some players go for loads and others that look similar to me go seem to be the same as a paperclip...
2007-09-15 15:22:52
The mysterious handout disappears after this week.
2007-09-15 16:13:50
I am moving towards the foxy advice on 1 mannetweek per player per skill with my team. Must be the most efficient use of your limited nets. Never going to produce super stars of course, but I don't want them.
