Subject: Battrick
I will be playing the same team in both and will probably get 3rd in both leagues, maybe second. I will wait till next season to make a run at one of the leagues
I would have bid 5.5, but I was 100k short of funds!!
Still its ok, I bought a very tasty all-rounder on the cheap, so I have good reason.

In reply to my 374, my oppo scored 94 all out. Maybe I should have GFI'd it.
See I may be able to chuck out a complete reserve side in the cup, meaning a GFI would be completely worth it, odd as before it was a definite TIE in the early cup rounds.
Pop on 17yo. I rule:

Well would you adam and eve it. FC is here!
End of Over 26 (5 runs). Pboranjing CC: 100-0, runrate=3.85
Ton up for my opening partnership. I've set my declaration target at 1200 and all my batsmen to very defensive. Should be a mammoth total if my players play to their potential.

i feel batting first between 2 equal teams is going to be very beneficial
Well i'll see how it goes bowling first, but probably will change to batting first :)
it will obviously take a while to see the difference in howattacking you set your bowlers and what sort of runs they go for
36.6 6 Haines to Ashmore
Do not bowl there! The ball pitches on leg half way down the pitch and Ashmore swats it for six over square leg.
36.5 W Haines to Bradley
Angus claims the catch. The umpire takes his time making the decision but finally the finger goes up. Haines is jubilant.
36.4 . Haines to Bradley
Shortish, rising ball outside off stump. The batsman stands tall on the crease and forces it down towards cover point.
36.3 . Haines to Bradley
He's nicked that one, didn't carry to first slip.
36.2 . Haines to Bradley
Forward, squared up the batsman, stroked back down the pitch.
36.1 . Haines to Bradley
On the front foot, cut to point.
Look at that, can you believe it! Wicket and next ball new batsman in manages to slog him for 6!!

Convey 12-5-22-0
Liddle* 33 (52 balls)
Read 34 (126 balls)
Last Wicket: Hitish Run Out 35 (FOW: 63/1)
Really annoyed, read is going slower than Geoff Boycott, and I can't take any wickets, grrr.

heehee! Well with that previous wicket i took out one of his 3 main batsmen, he has two of his best in now. Stanley is Battrick Rating: 65,743 Wages: £22,822 p/w, the other is Battrick Rating: 48,628 Wages: £12,107 p/w... If i can get either of these out then he doesn't have any great batting left as far as i can see :)
