Mine finished with me leading by 170 on 260-3 and I've set a declaration target of 300 tomorrow so hopefully I'll finish within day 2.

Things looked grim when I lost my 2 best batsmen in the first 3 balls!

My deep batting lineup managed to recover and declare at 367/6 though. I thought this was quite good but they are on 71/0 so it could be a long bowl tomorrow.

I bowled the opposition for 80 and I am 379-5 at the moment with a dec. target of 500 for the first innings. My captain has lead by example with a knock of 187 :)
My best bowlers today were:

Managed to bowl them out for 280, got a few quick wickets to their best batsmen, which turned the innings in my favour, lost 2 early wickets, but 50-2 with my 2 best batters in, hopefully a good partnership will enable me to get a decent 1st innings lead, set Tench to bowl longer spells and moved his priority to 1, to hopefully bowl them out cheaply when they get in, with my spinners on a 2nd/3rd day dusty wicket.

got the full bowling points atm, just want the full batting points, and then go on to win, I am enjoying the increased tactical options that FC has brought to BT.

That's me batting. Ideally I want to declare after 50 overs today. Four an over gets me to 728. Five an over gets me to 778 and six an over (not unreasonable) gets me to 828. That's a silly total, though, so I reckon I'll set my declaration target as 740.

Looks like my lot have sorted themselves out a bit after a dodgy start. I'm 120-3, 45 behind, with my opener on 69 not out. It could be a draw this one though. Is first class 3 days ? And what's this about batting and bowling points ? I usually only watch England...

I 've reordered my bowlers and got a brealthrough.
Can't get any more though it seems but they've been slowed to a snails pace of 2 an over

Just can't make a breakthrough, a 5k btr guy is managing to hit for sixes every so often, just got his half century too. Lots of maidens and low scoring overs, but crap all wickets!


Well finally, mr low btr goes for 58. Hopefully can take a few more now.

I reckon I'm looking good for a 1st inning lead of abuot 30-50 runs. Provided my tail wags and my last recognised batsman stays at the crease...

oh silly me, how foolish of me to think i could get some wickets. They have now added nearly 40 runs since the wicket and this is going to be a long day...and almost certainly a draw :)

No follow up to the wicket and my 6th bowler is having a go.
