Made it to 340-6 today off my 50 overs, with one of my batsmen passing 500 runs for the season so far. Haven't taken a wicket in their reply yet, but my angus fraser bowler in the middle orders is doing a fine job of strangling the innings. He's currently got 5-1-12-0.

I won by 9 wickets, one of my bowlers got a hattrick

I've taken three wickets so far...two run outs and a hit wicket. Bizarre really when you consider they are chasing 12 an over now. They should be taking more risks than that.

nah, Evett, Tracey got a couple though, good figures all round, but you'd expect that getting them out for 83!!

Aye, Fenton is a spinner as well, i get better ratings with just Tracey, got remarkable with Tracey on his own the other week

I think ill have to start playing my 18yr old, but not sure it will make much difference

I dunno, my 18yo was rubbish last season (too low stamina hence crap PFL all the time). This season he's taken his first five for, and is going at less than 4 an over. Last season he was going for nearer 7 an over...the four weef off season did his PFL no end of good and now he has prof stamina so he doesn't get hurt so much.
And your guy has higher stamina than mine iirc.

Should be a matter of time before mine becomes the better player i guess, with mine having 2 bowling nets

But i'd swap mine for yours in a flash, nice cons and the fielding is a level better

Mine's on 2 bowling now, too, as a slightly older player has finished with a stamina net. Pretty similar players, though, and I've got a decent medium pacer already, so I'd like a decent fast, fast medium or spinner for my next bowler.

My best player, gets a WK, batting and stamina net. Pretty rubbish compared to yours but will do for my league.

I thought you didn't go in for two nets on one player

My main concern about my players is what will be the agression of my three best bowlers in a season or two

Archer - Destructive
Shaw - Destructive

Im going to need to buy in someone slightly more negative i think, might at the end of the season splash some cash on an all-rounder with a cautious/defensive mindset

I don't usually, but my third trainee reached superb stamina, so I had a spare net knocking about. It'll be to the end of the season tops, probably.

Just checking, if im lucky Archer could pop tomorrow to strong bowling, but should be the week after, last bowling pop was early August (7 weeks ago tomorrow)
