7.4 W Convey to Huddlestone
Athleticism at its best. That one arced through the air, and Stratford, on his backfoot, has taken a wonderful leaping catch to his left to prevent the six and send Huddlestone on the long walk home.

And there goes the 3rd, can I be greedy? Yep, 1 more wont go amiss.

There can't be much pitch left at my gaffe then...

End of Over 37 (1 runs). Garboldisham Casuals: 45-5, runrate=1.22 (1st Inn: 166-10)

Trail by 18 runs. (Derbyshire 165-10 & 64-10)

I shouldn't have to worry about getting 18 runs off my last 5 wickets, surely ?
2007-09-26 18:22:42
already 40-0 off 7 with one of players hitting 2 6's so what are the odds I can score 450 odd to win?
2007-09-26 18:23:00
Changes in weather might account for it too.
Also tiredness might be a big factor.

Since my best 2 batsmen got 4 in the first innings and owe me I am going to try a thrash in the 2nd and declare at a risky time to see if it forces a result
2007-09-26 18:26:43
You crayzee fool. If only I had that option...
2007-09-26 18:27:04
for FC i'd plan as if they would go at 5 an over, generally a max if 2 teams are evenly matched, then how much you would get at 3 an over, work out where they would match up, and hope things work out.

i don't f*cking get it. I'm being absolutely pasted.

I lost by 11 runs, all out for 55 ! Ridiculous.
2007-09-26 22:05:21
They're 1148 for 11 first innings. I've got a lot of catching up to do.
2007-09-26 22:06:38
Oh dear. set every player to very defensive batting, and try to see out the day.
2007-09-26 22:11:35
Just read, that philfox deserves a lot of credit, went and won the 2020 he did.
2007-09-26 23:25:14
Aye, twas a good win :)
2007-09-27 10:41:05
I didn't have to worry after all. I skittled them for 18 runs in both innings and wonby an innings and 770 runs...

End of Over 58 (5 runs). White Rose CC: 218-5, runrate=3.76 (1st Inn: 281-10)
Lead by 43 runs. (Wolves 456-6 dec)
Hislop 9-1-42-0
Bancroft* 104 (129 balls)
Smallwood 35 (70 balls)

Mine is going to the wire, Tench should come back on shortly and hopefully that deals with the tail, hopefully leaving me around 100 to get in 30 overs, which should be manageable.
