I just feel like FC has screwed over any chance of competing in either format. People are too tired from last season still to be effective, even on very limited nets not recovering very well.
I don't want it to go however, but I do feel that you are at a total disadvantage if you suffer in one format because you get morale hits etc, in turn that stops any chance of you doing reasonably well in the other.
And of course i am in a very difficult FC series, and my OD series has been getting steadily tougher over the past 3 seasons. I am pretty sure i'm going to demote from one of my series.

Ive just seen a game in my league where a team has the following score
End of Over 198 (9 runs). Ton Up: 1443-7, runrate=7.29

I know exactly what you mean. I think I'll have to come up with 2 squads, and feed youths into them as and when I can pull them. It's going to result in 2 very weak teams, where before I had a half-decent 1 day team.
I set them a target of 15 to win by the way. Woop-dee-flipping-doo.

Yeah not the best idea not to declare in a 3 day game
I'm doing well:

oh, they are now for 8.

Please explain...
" * For a win 14 points are awarded to the winning side.
* For a tie 7 points are awarded to each side.
* For a draw 4 points are awarded to each side.
* For a loss the losing side gets no points"
What is the difference between a tie and a draw?

I think a tie is when the two teams get exactly the same score and a draw is when the match isn't finished within 3 days.
correct. In other words, a tie is bloody rare. Not many happened in rl.
ta. Well I will stick to winning then. 44 points from 2 games and all other teams drawing...
I like it. At this rate I can play duffers in the last few matches and I won't be able to be caught.

Ah see you thought that game would be a draw but look at this
