Just checking, if im lucky Archer could pop tomorrow to strong bowling, but should be the week after, last bowling pop was early August (7 weeks ago tomorrow)

If you've got the capacity, you might consider a fielding net on that WK. I believe the fielding takes into account the total fielding for the entire team, including the WK. Plus it'll improve his conc. I have a 19yo WK/Bat who has had one of each of stamina, batting, WK and fielding since he was 17:

He's pretty tasty, but still can't get the gloves off my other WK :)

I think yours is ahead of mine on bowling, then. Not expecting a pop for at least three weeks yet, but I know nothing about popping times, so maybe I'm wrong :)

How the hell can he not get the gloves from your WK, its like picking Jones when you have Read able to score plenty in the domestic game :P

My other WK is a level higher in WK. And there's no point dropping him, as there's nobody to replace him, really. I'd be losing a level of keeping and some batting, overall.

Unforunately I don't have a net spare. I've had 2 pretty lucky YPs that are getting trained (one allrounder, one batsman) and a bowler I bought. I'll give him one when my players in the stamina nets improve a bit

Fair enough...he's looking good anyway. I'm one of those users who is obsessed with fielding. I think it's gonna be super important to have 11 good fielders on the pitch. I've got 5 half decent fielders so far.

I need an all-rounder or a WK batsmen i think, my batting is so poor, its becoming quite a problem really

Might have to make my trainee for next season a batsman

I've only got three batters, but the chances of all of them failing is pretty slim, so I'm happy there. But my bowlers get raped, so I need a bowler for next season. If my WK/Bat reaches superb stamina before the end of the season I'll make it an allrounder instead.

Yep, i only have three batsmen, and its just not enough for div.ii, and its not enough for this div.iii which is proving stronger than my last division

I should really be glad i got a season or two in div.ii whilst i did, as its a long time before im back there i feel

Batting first in the cup today:

Recovered from 22-3, so I'm reasonably happy with the progress now. His best bowler looks like he'll be bowling half the last ten overs, though, so I don't think I can accelerate too much.

got a tricky tie next week, they play on a dusty pitch, and i only have 1 spin bowler and hes a trainee.

need my bowlers to go up in bowling really, ive got three tha may be close, which would definately improve my chances, otherwise i think im just a touch better than them
