Subject: So what did you get?

2007-12-29 01:47:34
Um...

2 books [Imprimateur, Omerta(in english)]
huuuuge bag of sweets[when I was about to loose weight...oh well]
nice, black chemise
a pack of vodka glass[wet? is it correct?]
Bowling for Columbine[on dvd]
some money and some little gifts
2007-12-29 07:27:12
borokos.... are you a girl or a guy? i always assumed 'guy' in which case your christmas list may have lost something in translation...

chemise?!?
2007-12-29 09:56:38
Lol :p I couldn't actually find a good word in my mind[shirt? :p] so I used chemise...I thought it meant what I had on my mind :D

I mean something like this but only the type of shirt...:p
2007-12-29 10:02:01
i think we would just use - shirt, sports-shirt, short sleeved shirt.

however now in sokker you will always be the polish MOD who likes to wear ladies underwear

;-)
2007-12-29 10:14:26
What is wrong with that?
2007-12-29 10:24:47
I bet he does it himself, in secret.

@dylanos
when I see word 'shirt' it isn't what i actually mean. :P
Is there something like smart shirt...like smart clothes?
2007-12-29 10:43:46
trust me... the picture you showed is of a shirt. a shirt is by definition 'smart'
a t-shirt or sweatshirt is the less smart version.
it may not translate well, but shirt it is.

@jaize: nothing wrong with borokos wearing a black chemise. it's no different to your wearing that negligee woppa bought you.
2007-12-29 10:47:03
He didnt buy it for me, I borrowed it.

And Borkos, smart shirt is OK as you get casual shirts too, button down collars and the like. The only smart that Dylanos knows is his legs when his "lady" friend "reprimands" him!
2007-12-29 11:30:42
Or his car of choice. It's a tight fit when he picks Ken up and they drive to their remedial classes together.
2007-12-29 11:35:34
errr... i didn't say there was a problem with 'smart shirt'; i was trying to explain to borokos that a 'shirt' is by definition considered to be fairly smart. be honest, what would you have called the item of clothing in his link? would you really say 'smart shirt' as a noun?
smart in this case is merely used as an adjective.

See boys, you don't even need to drive to remedial class, you can have your education online here

I wasn't paying attention to the shirt charade, I just spotted an opportunity for ridicule there for the taking. DfT will be pleased though, the roads are surely safer this way.
2007-12-29 11:46:35
jeeze you try and help some polish cross-dresser with his english, and get ridiculed by a man who could only fit in a smart car if he had the windows wound down ;-)
2007-12-29 11:50:59
I'm still praying that Daisy Duke will fly through the window one day and land on my gearstick. Sadly; where I live they don't take kindly to smart cars and it's more likely to be a flying half-brick, window down or not. It does help with the reprocessed sprout smell though.
2007-12-29 15:24:22
here is my list..

-pokerset of €15

that is all[sarcastic]
2007-12-29 17:54:03
Thanks, now I understand everything. ;)

Daisy Duke is 50-odd now.
