I like the idea of a glass that doesn't stand up. Maybe it will encourage my mates to drink at a normal rate so I don't get about 6 pints ahead of them by the end of the night.

Not sure I understand you, old bean. Has it happened before? Yes, every time I go drinking with my mates here. I'm old enough now to not be bothered by the odd memory lapse here and there, anyway. I don't tend to do things that are that daft anyway. I just keep drinking.

well you can only consume so much alcohol in one go and still know what youre doing, missing 2/3 hours of a night means that you could do anything, while having no recollection of what you did.
