It's good to see that you're on the good side, it's too easy to take the money and run in most industries. Working as a programmer for a telemarketer, it's not easy to feel good about what you do, it's not exactly charity work. I console myself with the fact that it's promoting recycling, and that a lot of the recyclers are making a living as a result of the likes of Ford etc not being responsible for what happens to the toxins in their product when it dies. So at least I can pretend to be the bloke in the white hat, even if it is for a premium rate service.

You'll be surprised what gets into a Tesco Value Shreddie. That gets past my QC point.

Hairs, Nails, Stones, budweiser bottle tops. I think the guys and girls have competitions to see what they can get into the Shreddie wholewheat goodness without me seeing.

i dont work im at uni

Upsides:

Im at home a lot.

Downsides:

i actually turn up, and spend some part of my life doing work.

i'm at italian college:

Upsides: I don't work ;)
I can socialize

Downside: I should spend my time for study :(

Easy (mostly)

Downsides:
Terrible pay :(
I have to deal with an incompetent head teacher who spends his entire day inventing pointless rules to make our lives harder (like banning plain, black jumpers)
I have to get up at 7am

That's fair enough mate, it's a well known fact that plain black jumpers are the clothing equivalent of crystal meth in turning millions of impressionable adolescents into goths. You've got to take a stand to eradicate this menace. Your head teacher is clearly a man with his finger on the pulse & should be applauded for his actions. Without his principled actions you’d be wearing mascara, painting your finger nails black & scratching up your arms with a blunt compass before you knew it!

Greg, how did you do in your Sats by the way? I remember you asking about them last year and me saying they were a piece of pish.

Secondly you should know that the only fun teachers get is in winding kids up, it is the best part of my day cussing kids.

8 in maths, 7 in science and english so couldn't have done better :)

I actually prefer the teachers that take the piss out of us, at least they're interesting.

Yep, the year of doss before my GCSEs. Saying that I have some food tech coursework in for friday and a two science module tests on monday :(

lol join the club and it gets better next year i've got 2 pieces in for this weeks and a retake on Wednesday. I really should start them......... erm na : )

What I do:

I'm an Air Traffic Controller in a hick backwater.

Downsides:
The odd 6 am start
No fit birds, to speak of

Upsides:
Lots of cash
Not a lot to do

Don't know why exactly, but suddenly had a strong urge to rewatch 'Airplane' for the 200th time...
