Subject: Top Gear
I think he would choose to get a haircut on the basis that it is less life threatening.
You can't do that, Hammond and Clarkson wouldn't have him to poke fun at anymore.
Serious. They stopped him doing it when people found out it was him and got a new Stig.
BBC Prime shows every Sunday morning 3 series of Top Gear in a row. Those are probably reruns - anyone knows which season? For example today there was busty Jordan on the show.
A mole writes...
Further to your mailout story about Lewis Hamilton being the Stig...
My father-in-law works for a British Formula One constructors company; they often go to Dunsfold/Top Gear studio to deliver cars etc. It's a well-know fact that the Stig isn't the same person at all; rather the test driver from whichever car manufacturer is 'doing the lap'. Apparently, there's no way that one person would ever be allowed to test the 'sacred' cars - even if they were a good driver! Some of the car companies are complete cocks about the whole testing thing, anyway, by all accounts. They have to fiddle the lap times to ever secure a particular car being on the show.

Hmm.
I'm not sure I believe that. Yes, it's known that "The Stig" has been different drivers. I believe early on , it may have been Perry McCarthy.
However the comment about car companies only allowing their own drivers to race the cars seems parp to me.
If that's the case, how come programs like Fifth Gear can let that posh horse/bird race all manner of cars timed.
