Subject: Nintendo Wii
you need to buy it from the wii shopping channel. It was free until the end of June, now it's 500 points. Question 2 : What are points ? Points are Nintendos' way of screwing you for every penny in exchange for the internet channel and "classic games" such as Super Mario 64 (no idea what happens in that), Super Mario Kart (The best 80 quid I ever wasted on controllers) and Galaga 90 (or what Oasis did before they found rock'n'roll).
If you have a visa card, you can buy points (1000 points = 7 quid) from the Shopping Channel, or you can go into Woolworths or similar and buy a Wii points card for 14 quid for 2000 points. The Wii points cards come in a completely superfluous DVD case that keeps the packaging company in Germany fully staffed and nothing else.

I will contact some dodgy mates to see if they have any "discount" ones then...

Does that also mean you can get a keyboard for the wii, a wiiboard if you will?
People in shops you mean ? :).
The cards give you a 16 digit number, I'm sure if you were bored enough you'd stumble across one that hasn't been used.

Not a wiiboard no, the keyboard appears on screen when you click a textbox. It's quite intuitive, but it does mean that you sit for 5 minutes doing a steven hawking impression to find the question mark.
Super Mario 64 is a bit like Banjo Kazooie (a brilliant game for the N64 that not that many have heard of).
Kind of adventurey, collecting stars and other stuff and stuff.
I think.

Looks to me like an excuse to show off the N64s' graphics without bothering to put a game in them.

The matches do start to load, bt my psp doesn't have enough memory to fully load all the match info, gets to about 60% and then stops!
I've never tried the tactics editor, it shows where the players are, that I know, but the tactics are complicated enough for me not to go mesing with them with what would be unusual controls!!

I got Super Mario Charged Football yesterday. It's quite chaotic, but you can pick it up and play to a reasonable level quite quickly despite their being about 3 buttons and 2 D-pads to use.
If anyone else has it, I'll be getting a lan adaptor soon, so will be open to challenges.

quickest selling console now apparently, but it depends on which amount of sales you are basing that on.
i was thinking about getting it but now might just wait for pro evo to come out..plus need to save a bit of money for a new laptop
it's not really proper soccer, it can't be when you can drop land mines and have mad robot dogs on chains running around the pitch, it's good fun though, as you'd expect from nintendo.
MMM i'm just waiting for crysis/unreal tournament 3 for PC on my dx10 rig :)
Yeah I have it. I could be persuaded to play games some time.
Persuaded, or cajoled ?
